My Name is: Edward M. Goldberg

I have been around the block a few times in this computing industry. This time around I have hitched my wagon to the Cloud Computing Community. I like to say that now a days "I have my head in the clouds".

The very idea of a computer center or CoLo in Virtual Space, brings tears to my eyes. I can get very passionate about computers. No more heavy lifting for me. My days of loading Pizza Box Computers into racks are over. Now I can have 1,000 CPUs in 10 min. with just a "launch -n 1000" command. Now that ROCKS!

I work for http://www.RightScale.com (it is hard to imagine that they pay me, I would worked for free just to have access to an account!).

If you need help with the whole idea of Computer Centers that are not "Bricks and Mortar" drop by the talks and ask question. I have been there and done that.
